10th May 2012 Smiles all round in Crumlin Cow & Gate celebrate €62,456 donation to Crumlin There were smiles all round as toddlers from all over Ireland and their parents arrived at the Cow & Gate Smiles for Crumlin party today. The children were all part of a fantastic fundraising drive which resulted in €62,456 being raised for the Children’s Medical & Research Foundation at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin. Children's Medical & Research Foundation has received a €7,000 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation. The grant will help to to upgrade the Bone Marrow Transplant unit to meet the highest standard of patient care. to provide ensuite facilities for patients and parents which do not current exist on the unit. To also provide a facility which is more age appropriate for our older patients . There are currently no facilities for teenagers on the unit.
