Crumlin Capital Projects

Please help us. This year the hospital has asked us to support the development of a cardiac critical care facility and upgrade our cancer facility and we were more than  happy to pledge our support. This development of the cardiac critical care facility will house 25 beds. 21 single inpatient roms, 2 en-suite rooms for adolescent patients and 2 isolation rooms with en-suite and lobby area. There will also be a step down area and room to expand as the needs of the hospital are ever growing.

The needs of the hospital and research centre are extensive and diverse and for the past 4 decades you have embraced these needs, both large and small and helped us meet our fundraising goals. As a result of your continued generosity, the Foundation has been able to help continue to financially support capital projects throughout Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and the National Children's Research Centre, ensuring that the highest standard of care and research are possible for children.  Thank you.

• The decant BMT unit while we work on refurbishing St John's Ward
• A new complimentary therapy room
• the renovation of St Michael's Ward
• hanging out in our hospital
• the expansion of the ED Department
• a five storey Medical Tower,
• an Intensive Care Unit
• the expansion of the Radiological Department
• an Oncology Unit
• the building of a Diabetes Unit
• a Microbiology Lab
• a new Burns Unit
• an Adolescents’ Den
• & parents accommodation.
