How to be a Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering.  As a valued staff member of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and/or the National Children’s Research Centre, we at CMRF see you as playing a critical role in supporting the efforts of our amazing fundraising community around Ireland. Whether you are a consultant, nurse, doctor, researcher, therapist, admin staff, porter or other we have a variety of ways by which you can play your part.

We would welcome you to

• speak at our events and to thank our fundraisers for their invaluable commitment to our hosptial programmes and research
• attend cheque presentations
• be a marshal at an event
• work at a CMRF run event
• help with tours of the hospital and/or research centre
•  or just hand out flyers 

 
For our events overseas, we would periodically need to bring a qualified medical person.  This position is unpaid but travelling and accommodation expenses would be covered.  To be considered for overseas volunteering we would need to see a  regular commitment to assisting at national events.
