Recycle Your Mobile Phone

There are now nearly as many mobile phones in Ireland as there are people. A lot of them just sit in people’s drawers and cupboards gathering dust. To us, our hospital and patients, they are unrealised cash that can be translated into vital equipment and funds for life saving research.

Chatterbox: Recycle 4 Crumlin Kids has donation envelopes and donation boxes that we can supply you with. All your old mobiles that we receive through our Chatterbox recycling appeal will be repaired and sold on, those that can’t be repaired are sent to our end of life recycling partner, to have all precious metals extracted, and any remaining materials smelted for energy recovery. Same goes for most printer cartridges collected. They can be sold to remanufacturers who recondition and refill the product to sell to consumers as an environmentally friendly option. So not only does it help our sick children in Crumlin, it’s green too!

We would be thrilled if you or your company would consider supporting our Chatterbox campaign by donating your old mobile phone, iPods, digital cameras & ink cartridges to raise vital funds for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and the National Children's Research Centre and to make a difference to the lives of our patients.

  • You don’t have to keep them in your drawer anymore
  • It’s easy – Call us 1890 507 508  for your free donation envelope & pop them in the post for free
  • You can make the difference in the lives of our sick children
