Request a Permit

Garda permits are needed for some fundraising events but NOT for all. Your assigned executive will advise you on this when you register your event with us.

• Permit are generally needed if you are collecting money from members of the public.
• If you are selling a product such as pens and pins or providing a service such as bag packing then a permit is not required.  

To collect in the street or in a Shopping Centre you will need to get a permit as well as permission from the Shopping Centre in question.  Please contact us and we will apply for the permit for you.  The more notice you give us the better ( please note it is extremely difficult to attain a permit with less then three weeks notice).
