Great Garda Run

GREAT GARDA RUN is a biennial charitable event which this year is in aid of Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin. The overall target of this years event is to raise in excess of €100,000 for this very worthy charity.

Great Garda Run 2012 will see 100 members of An Garda Siochana, take part in the Munich Marathon on 14th October 2012 and raise funds for St. John's Ward in Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin.

All participants personally fund all expenses incurred in this event, resulting in every cent raised by participants going directly to Our Lady's Hospital.

This year, participants will be joined in Munich by legendary Irish sports stars Eamonn Coghlan, Malcolm O'Kelly and Jack O'Shea, with much loved soccer star Paul McGrath lending much needed support to the team during their preparations.
